G.A. Mangun

Pentecost lost one of our “hero’s of the faith” this past week.  A true man of God, known more for his prayer life than his preaching, he no doubt exemplified for countless people how to live a Godly life.  Someone said “Bro. Mangun didn’t tell us how to live, he simply lived and let us watch.”  What a tribute to true leadership. He lived by a very simple code of conduct that everyone of us would be wise to adapt.  ‘Pray one hour a day, fast one day a week, win souls.’ We are so guilty of complicating living for God and having revival.  This man never lost what it really takes. This man of God fathered one of my favorite preachers, Anthony Mangun.    We lost Bro. Pugh just a few weeks ago, and now with the loss of this man, it reminds us that no one is with us forever.  God raise up men in these last days to fill the shoes of the apostles and prophets who are finishing their race.  Below is a tribute video to Bishop Mangun.

Terry Shock

Terry Shock has become a powerful voice in Pentecost. I have spoken with a couple of people who have worked with him closely and the things that stand out to both of them have been his character and integrity. He has a real grasp on what the mission and purpose of the church is. Every minister should order the message he preached at BOTT 2009 at whitesteeple.com
Here is a excellent excerpt from Bro. Shock.
